The curriculum covers ethical training in virtues and the fundamental spiritual teachings shared by all of the world's major religions. In 2004 the Gladstone Bahá'í community commenced BESS classes at a State School in the inner city area. At present it only caters for year 1 students but we look forward to offering this religious education to other grades in the same school and other schools, providing we have the resources to meet the demand. It is open to all children who have the consent of their parents and guardians to attend.
